Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer that was born in Newark, New Jersey on 9th August 1963. Their parents include gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the church choir as a small child. When she was 15 years old, she joined her mom in backing vocals in Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. She then went on to sing backing vocals with Lou Rawls, Jermaine, as well as her mom. Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as both anchorwoman, reporter and political correspondent.
